This can be either a one-day or two-day class.  Students will learn the law governing oil and gas ownership, development, marketing, and transfer. The oil and gas industry uses a number of unique contractual arrangements to explore for, develop, produce, and market oil and gas. This course includes a good overview of key clauses of the oil and gas lease and examines the law governing farmouts, purchase and sale agreements, operating agreements, drilling contracts, sales contracts, pooling and unitization agreements.
